Dr. Ishee joined Dr. Duplechain’s private Cosmetic Surgery practice, and their office is located on the third floor of the Lafayette Surgical Medical Office Building in Suite 300. The office building is conveniently and safely positioned between two hospitals, Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital.
At this location, Dr. Ishee performs surgery in the practice’s office-based Cosmetic Surgery Center, utilizing the private operative suite fully accredited by the Association for the Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for exceptional patient care and safety.
Patients undergoing procedures that require sedation or general anesthesia in the operative suite enjoy anesthesia services provided by members of the well-respected Anesthesiology & Pain Consultants group that performs anesthesia and pain management procedures at multiple hospitals and clinics in Lafayette, LA. Their office, Pain Management Center, and pharmacy are conveniently located directly across the hall from Dr. Ishee’s office.
Patients receiving sedation or general anesthesia during a procedure with Dr. Ishee benefit from the undivided attention of a board-certified Anesthesiologist for the entirety of their surgery. Rarely today is there a clinical situation in which a patient in surgery is continuously monitored by an Anesthesia expert for the entirety of the case. When an Anesthesiologist is dedicated to a single patient, it allows for complete and continuous attention to that individual’s safety and well-being enabling faster response times and improved anesthesia administration.
